Erdenet Mining Company LLC (EMC) is Mongolian-Russian Joint mining venture, which main mineral deposits are located in the Erdenetiin-Ovoo area. The main products of EMC are copper and molybdenum concentrates.
At present EMC is one of the biggest open pit ore mining and ore processing factory in Asia, where works about workers, and a large complex processing 26 million tonnes of ore per year.

EMC producing around 530 thousand tonnes of copper concentrates with 25% content of copper annually, which is 1% in production of copper concentrates in the world.
EMC producing around 4.5 thousand tonnes of molybdenum concentrates with 50% content of molybdenum annually, which is 0.7% in production of molybdenum concentrates in the world.
