5 Different Types of Volunteers

Short Term/Placements Defined time-frame and purpose Looking to deliver a specific task Possible learning outcomes and skills Could last between approx. 3-6 months 2. Sea Cadets – general activities at the ship and around Victoria Dock The Inclusion Group – helping with garden area and some ship maintenance University of Dundee – student placements around marketing, event management and digital/IT work University of St Andrews – 3-month student placements working on exhibitions, museum outreach and collections management HMS Unicorn Victoria Dock, Dundee, DD1 3BP
