These research projects covered many different types of research and mostly were not funded by Parkinson’s UK.
Some were even from outside the UK.

Just by enabling people to self refer to research, we can increase this percentage.

We can support good quality research which has potential deliver benefits for people affected by Parkinson’s.
We assess each request to ensure it meets our required standards.
Ultimately it will be at the discretion of the Parkinson’s UK research team whether the research is eligible for support and how this is provided.
