2. Purpose of Training
This training is designed to provide students with capacity to develop both static and interactive websites as a basis for developing commercial websites as well as highlighting the future of software development envisioning web based software systems.

3. Mode of conduct
This course will be conducted through "Problem base learning (PBL)” where by students will be given a problems that have to be solved by developing a web based software
The process of developing that software will be divided into different activities based on the project progress. 
On developing the software students will be guided through lectures and practical sessions(based on learn by doing technique) 

4. Expected Training outcomes
At the end this training you will able to :
System analysis and design
Have understanding of the five phases of the system development life cycle
Create design models of information systems.
Describe basic concepts of website designing
modeling databases at conceptual and logical levels of designd

Development (coding)
Design and develop a Web page using HTML and CSS.
Link pages so that they create a Web site.
Design and develop a Web site using text, images, links, lists, and tables for navigation and layout.
Apply JavaScript scripting to validate HTML forms
Use graphics in Web design.
Use PHP scripting to create dynamic WebPages
Developing complete interactive web based database application
