Think about the rudeness you encounter every day. From classmates, adults, parents, store clerks, brothers and sisters. People on the bus, strangers, people on social media. T.V. shows that make rudeness a form of entertainment. Now think about the rude things you do and say every day. Rudeness

Students and teachers have noticed and complained about the amount of inappropriate language being used in the hallways, classrooms, cafeteria, and bus. The use of foul and abusive language is prohibited by District and School Rules. You may be disciplined at school for using bad language. Swearing and Cussing

Lots of people find swearing and cussing offensive.
Foul language distracts others from learning and feeling safe at school. Foul language makes you look bad in front of others. It’s unnecessary to get your point across. People treat you differently based upon the way you express yourself verbally. It could get you into a fight. Why does it matter?

Yes, but the images those words conjure up are not what other people want to hear and have flying around in our school environment. So, think carefully about what words you use to express yourself. Avoid swearing and other rude, disrespectful words. You will be helping our school be a better place for everyone! “But it’s only words?”
