Maximilien Robespierre 6 May 1758–28 July 1794 is one of the best-known figures of the French Revolution.
He was an influential member of the Committee of Public Safety and was instrumental in the period of the Revolution commonly known as the Reign of Terror
Robespierre believed that the Terror was a time of discovering and revealing the enemy within Paris and France

6. Jean-Paul Marat French politician, physician, and journalist
A leader of the radical Montagnard faction during the French Revolution.
He was assassinated in his bath by Charlotte Corday, a young Girondin conservative.
