3 Andrew Jackson: Hero or Villain
Agree on a description of what makes someone a heroic American leader. Discuss each event on the list of Jackson’s actions. Determine if each action belongs on the hero or villain side of you T-chart. Write a brief explanation of your groups reasoning when placing each event.

7 Procedure Students are presented with a question that will elicit thought and discussion. Each side makes opening statements. Students respond to each other's comments. Use any materials you wish to support your opinion. Move seats if you change your mind. You do not need to raise hands. To gain full credit, a student must speak at least two times.
