These tips are related to writing your own “Wimpy Kid” comic strip. Don’t be confused by the tips that reference the “Wimpy Kid” books. Your comic strip should be about our short story!

“Dark They Were and Golden-Eyed”
With your group, create a comic strip that includes the main ideas and details from the story. Your comic strip should contain no less than 6 frames. Be sure to include text/dialogue as well as illustrations!
This is an example of how one group chose to approach this yesterday. What a great idea to use post-it notes to plan out the comic strip before jumping into the artistic creation! Way to go!!!
