Forgiveness is Often Very Hard
Real forgiveness isn’t passive. It requires action. You have to give back better than you receive. Luke 6: “But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.” Romans 12:14 “Bless those who persecute you.” 1 Peter 3:9 “Not returning evil for evil, or insult for insult, but giving a blessing instead.”

Luke 17:3-4 “If your brother or sister sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them. Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them.” What Happens if You Don’t Forgive?

Forgiveness is Often Very Hard But You Have to Do it Anyway
If you don’t forgive, you won’t be forgiven. You must forgive no matter how much you hurt. If you don’t forgive, you are going to suffer. Failure to forgive is damaging and destructive. If you don’t forgive, God’s work will suffer. Your focus needs to be on what is most important. Keep Satan Out of This Family
