سالم الفعل الصحيح Verbs that do not have any hamza or that do not have same 2nd and 3rd radicals are called saalim. شَرِبَ – ضَرَبَ - سَمِعَ

5.       مَهْمُوز الفعل الصحيح Verbs which contain hamzah as one of the root letter are called mahmooz أكَلَ – سَأَلَ – قَرَأ

A verb will not be called مَهْمُوز If the hamzah in it is not in place of one of the three radicals ie fa, ayn or laam kalimah. For example أكْرَمَ Is on the pattern أفْعَلَ It is not مَهْمُوز

6.   مُضعَّف الفعل الصحيح Verb that have the same 2nd and 3rd radicals are called mudaaf. عَدَّ – فَرَّ – شَدَّ
