Public Sector National Commitment: 0.03% of GDP = N$300mil Grants – Research Professional Platform Horizon 2020 (EUR 6,6billion) Intra-Africa Novel ideas bring money!

Trust is an important issue in innovation landscape Innovation – not always about technology products and business, processes, systems and most importantly about people Research and innovation should be competencies prompted in early years at school, nurtured at university, and diffused into the public and private sector Shift from R&D to Innovation Clusters (regional endowments
