2. NUCLEAR EXPLOSION
Nuclear explosion occurs as a result of a very fast uncontrolled nuclear reaction energy releasing. That reaction can be nuclear fusion, nuclear fission or combination of them. Nuclear explosion is used to develop nuclear weapon.

4. NUCLEAR WEAPON
Nuclear weapon is the weapon based on destructive power of fission or much stronger fusion. As the resuit we have nuclear weapon which is so much stronger and more destructive than the strongest explosive.

6. There are two types of nuclear weapon:
Nuclear fission weapon
Nuclear fusion weapon

7. NUCLEAR FISSION WEAPON
Nuclear fission weapon is the first weapon which makes its own explosion from nuclear fission reaction. This type of weapon is known as on atomic bomb, A-bomb or a fission bomb.

8. NUCLEAR FUSION WEAPON
Nuclear fusion weapon is the second type of nuclear weapon which makes a large amounts of energy, and it can be thousands times more powerful than an atomic bomb.

9. NUCLEAR BOMB
Nuclear bomb is one of the most destructive kinds of weapon. The first nuclear bomb was made during the World War II as a result of the secret project “Manhattan” by the American government. Some of the most famous physicists and scientists, took part in than project.
Thermonuclear bomb is a kind nuclear weapon which realises very large amounts of energy from the reaction of nuclear fusion and it can be much stronger than an atomic bomb. It’s known as H-bomb.

10. Nuclear physicist Igor Kurackov is the founder of nuclear bomb in Russia. He is a creator of the first reactor in Europe. In 1941 he was leading the research and after that he was wide known in Soviet Academy of Sciences. Asteroid under the number 2352 in named “Kurcatov”.

11. ATOMIC ATTACK
Atomic attack on Hiroshima and Nagasaki occurred on 6th and 9th August,1945.
people were killed in attack and twice as many people died from these consequences:
Radiation
Famine
Burn

13. Almost 70 years after the attack people continue to suffer of the consequences of these atomic bombs, because the survivors were diagnosed with cancer and high blood pressure. Atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki were the first and so far the only such bombs that were used in the war. These two cities have become important symbol in the fight for the world without nuclear weapons.

14. Countries like the USA and Russia (and some others) still do the testing and researches in this field-it can be very dangerous for all the people and for our planet , too.
Ordinary people believe that these kinds of weapons should (and must) be destroyed before it is too late.
