Evacuation Procedures
In the event of fire or other hazardous situations requiring emergency response the building may need to be evacuated. In the event of an event: Exit the building through the nearest exit Do not stop to collect personal belongings Do not use elevators during an emergency event Go to the nearest gathering area and await instructions

First Aid/AEDs Basic first aid supplies are in the Break Room There is an AED located in the break Room near Demo room

Illness/Injuries For emergency help dial 911. It is extremely important that all work related injuries and illness are reported to your supervisor, even ergonomic issues.

Chemicals A safety data sheet must be provided A copy of the safety data sheets are on Teradyne’s online chemical management database “ACTIO” Actio is available through the internal EHS website In the event the system is unavailable contact EHS. Backup CDs are available.

Electrical Safe Practices
While it is every employees responsibility to work and act in a safe manner, there are certain locations in the Austin facility that require additional electrical safe work practices and awareness. To work these areas you will be required to take additional training. The demo room and Lab area are these areas
