4. HAMUN
Congratulations to: Kate Yordy Eric Alvarez Aarav Kumar Cindy Li Sabah Jamal
Good job everyone, for allowing us to have our most successful HAMUN ever. Mrs. Caviness and Mrs. Pear were very impressed.
The website will be updated to include all the information and pictures of HAMUN and will be updated by this weekend. Everyone’s name will be immortalized on the internet for participating in this conference.
We may even have our pictures on the Pearland ISD webpage and more.

5. The Future - Future Conference:
I am very determined to participate in at least one more conference before this year ends.
If another conference is not possible, we will possibly organize a smaller inter-school Conference with Shadow Creek and Manvel.
- In meeting activities:
Last year, we tried and failed to organize Mock Crisis committees, we will definitely have one of those this year.
We will try and host discussions and debates regarding international issues and maybe even some domestic issues.
HAMUN and Conferences are not the end of our clubs. The officers and I have had some discussions on integrated other current clubs with this one in order to create more cohesive and accessible learning environments that these activities share

6. The Future
Funds:
We will continue to conduct fundraising activities to lessen costs for potential conferences this year and for next year too
We may have some more help from PISD due to our performance at HAMUN and the good work Mrs. Pear and Mrs. Caviness observed.
- T-shirts:
We will work on getting shirts for everyone. You will need to pay for them, but they do look pretty awesome.

7. Other Information Academic World Quest:
Kate, Aditya, Aarav, Daniel, and I participated in AWQ. (Adith was supposed to, but he was sick)
It will complement your awareness of global issues necessary for Model UN.
Our Website:
We will be updating the website more and will include more information on it that we may not announce on the Remind or in a meeting. Please check it whenever you have free time. It may be hard to believe, but we do try to not use Remind too much.

8. Other Information
- Hours:
We have been monitoring everyone’s volunteer hours. Message us over Remind to inform us you need to have your hour sheet signed, and we will take care of it.
Asian Culture Club’s Lunar New Year Festival: On February 23rd, ACC will have their annual festival where many of you can get hours through their club and through our club. We will announce more details over Remind
