2 Beakers Used to measure estimated quantities of substances, usually
liquids. Come in various sizes.

3 Graduated Cylinders Used to measure more exact quantities of liquids.
Come in various sizes.

4 Erlenmeyer Flasks Used for measuring estimated amounts of
liquid and for mixing substances together. Come in various sizes.

5 Volumetric Flasks Used to measure exact amounts of liquid and for
mixing substances together. Come in various sizes.

6 Round (Florence) Flasks
Used for heating liquids, usually in a separating process such as distillation. Come in various sizes.

7 Burettes Used to titrate various liquids. burette

8 Pipettes Used to measure precise amounts of liquid and to
carefully transport liquids. Come in various sizes and shapes. Transfer pipettes

9 Funnels Used to separate solids from liquids. Come in various sizes.

10 Crucibles Used for heating various substances. Can be used
with or without lid. Come in various sizes.

11 Mortars & Pestles Used for grinding down substances into fine
particles.

12 Evaporating Dishes Used for heating various substances to the point
of evaporation.

13 Watch Glasses Use for crystallization or for beaker covers.

14 Wire Meshes Used for holding beakers over flames.

15 Clay Triangles Used to hold a crucible over a flame for heating
substances.

16 Test Tubes Used for holding liquids or specimens; for mixing
substances together; and for carrying out small scale reactions. Come in various sizes.

17 Test Tube Racks Used to hold test tubes.

18 Bunsen Burners Used to heat substances.

19 Scoopulas Used to transport solids from one container to another.

20 Stirring Rods Used to stir mixtures.

21 Tweezers Used to pick solids out of other substances to avoid
touching and contaminating the substance.

22 Droppers Used to measure out droplets of liquid.

23 Balances Used to measure the mass of substances.

24 Rings Used to support wire mesh and clay triangles
which hold other equipment during heating and other processes.

25 Ring Stands Hold clamps and rings.

26 Crucible Tongs Used to transport hot crucibles.

27 Test Tube Tongs Used to transport hot/cold test tubes.

28 Beaker Tongs Used to transport hot/cold beakers.

29 Thermometers Used to measure the temperature of substances.

30 Well Plates Used to carry out small scale reactions.

31 Test Tube Clamps Used to secure test tubes to a stand.

32 Burette Clamps Used to secure burettes to a stand.

33 Goggles/Safety Glasses
Used to protect the eyes from harmful substances. Should be worn over prescription glasses. Contact lenses should not be used in the lab.
