RtDuet built a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model on Microsoft Azure, allowing manufacturing companies to compete on the same level as larger corporations by implementing the solution as an operating expense rather than waiting to incorporate it into future capital expenditures. By using Azure as a server database, it leverages the on- demand, scalable infrastructure of Azure to provide services. Using Azure’s cloud-scale global infrastructure, the data is stored in the cloud and is accessible in real time from any web or smart device.
