Whiteboarding Pasteur’s Experiments
For each experiment in your notes, as a table group use whiteboards to: Sketch the results of the experimental setup Write a sentence of the results What he saw Why he saw it Once you have a stamp, record the information in your notes and begin whiteboarding the next experiment

P 47 LP made nutrient broth by boiling water containing yeast and sugar. If left in sealed flask, it remained unchanged (nothing grew). He passed air thru a pad of cotton wool in tube. If pad was place in sealed flask, microorganisms grew. Broth in flasks w long necks, melting glass to bend. He boiled broth of some flasks and left others unboiled. Unboiled: growth Boiled: no growth. Snapped neck and then there was growth. Repeated experiments with urine and milk with same results.
