Latitude What is Latitude? LINES RUNNING HORIZONTALLY
Measured in DEGREES. EQUATOR = 0 Degrees Latitude. MEASURE DISTANCES North or South of the Equator. NORTH POLE = 90 degrees N Latitude SOUTH POLE = 90 degrees S Latitude.
