4 Language Objective By the end of the lesson, students will be able to use all four language domains of listening, speaking, reading and writing. They will verbally communicate with their partners and write formulas with exponents to evaluate and solve real world problems. They will show they understand if they can properly use the math vocabulary to communicate the key ideas and successfully complete at least 2 out of the 3 real world problems with their partners. Academic Math Language Vocabulary: exponents, patterns, formula, evaluate, variables, volume, dimensions, length, width, height.
