Allele – Versions of a trait that you get from each parent.
Genotype – the combination of alleles for a gene.
Phenotype – result of the genotype. The physical trait.
Homozygous – both alleles are the same.
Heterozygous – two different alleles.
Dominant – overpowers the recessive traits (shown by capital letters)
Recessive – hidden by the dominant trait (shown by lowercase letters)
