Primary Source- a document or physical object which was written or created during the time of study
Examples- artifacts, newspapers, quotes

Secondary Source- are documents written after an event has occurred, providing secondhand accounts of that event, person, or topic
Examples- textbooks, biographies, non-fiction books, encyclopedias
