SHAME: “the painful feeling arising from the consciousness of something dishonorable, improper, ridiculous, etc., done by oneself or another.”
When you sin, you should feel ashamed!

In Genesis 4, Cain murdered his brother.
In Genesis 6, God was sorry He had made man.
Judges 2:6-10 Sin progresses from bad to worse.
Romans 1:18 “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men.”
Romans 1:32 “Although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.”

There was a day when people tried to HIDE their sin because they were ASHAMED of their sin.
