Keep things grouped together by classes. For example, textbooks for your morning classes in one spot. And, textbooks for afternoon classes in another spot.
Some students find it helpful to have shelving units/shelves or crates to stay organized.

Clean out your locker once a week on your own time, like after school. You only have time for a quick tidy up between classes.
We will not give you class time to clean out your locker. This is YOUR job.
When cleaning out your locker, take everything out. Make three piles – keep in locker, trash, or take home/turn in. Reorganize things that go in locker. Sort the things together by type – clothes/books/etc.
Hang up items like clothing – hoodies, jackets, coats, backpacks – on the hooks provided. If you bring a jacket, take it home each day. Otherwise, your locker may end up looking like a closet!

5. Organization – More Ideas
Place your books upright on a bottom shelf (they might break the top shelf if they're too heavy), with the spines facing you. Order them by your class schedule. Place your notebooks/binders on the top shelf of your rack with the textbooks you need, spine facing outward.
Collect pencils into a pencil case. Carry that pencil case with you. Many pencil cases have 3 rings so you could also clip it into a binder to help you not forget.
Put anything dirty, such as shoes or sports equipment, on the floor. This area is easy to clean and keep fresh as opposed of stacking dirty items on top of papers and clean items.
Use magnetic locker organizers to organize smaller items in your locker. Don't attach these to the door as they can fall when the door is slammed shut. Instead, stick these to the back or side walls.

6. Do NOT Share Combinations!
Your best friend today, may not be your best friend tomorrow. Do not share lockers.
Do not share combinations or reveal your combinations with a friend.
Your locker is YOUR responsibility.
Keep your combination private.
Think twice about keeping valuable items in your locker.

7. Your Lock
There is a video on Churchill’s website to help you practice opening a lock.
If you are having trouble, ask a teacher for help.
Don’t give up or stress out. Clear the lock and try again.

8. Practice Time!! VOICE LEVEL 0 – NO TALKING
Enter Hallway and walk on right side to locker. Remove Lock and WALK ON RIGHT to return to class.
Sit down, and start practicing opening your lock!

9. Directions: Spin Lock around 2 times.
Turn to the right to 1st number ..pause.
Turn left PASSING THE 1ST NUMBER, and then to 2nd number pause!
Turn right directly to 3rd number & open.
