School Related Personnel Bargaining Unit Represents all non-instructional employees in Pasco County Includes everyone from Bus Driver to Secretary to Instructional Assistant and more 3,640 employees in the bargaining unit 25.88% of employees in the bargaining unit are union members

School Related Personnel Bargaining Unit Decertification efforts are underway Primarily a result of dissension with Transportation employees

Leon Educational Staff Professional Association – FEA Includes Para Professionals, Secretaries, Clerical, Technical and ESE Support 1,055 employees 16% of employees in the bargaining unit are union members Local 1010/District Council 78 of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades - AFL-CIO Includes Bus Drivers, Nutritional Services, Maintenance and Building Trades 933 employees 33% of employees in the bargaining unit are union members

Compensating long-tenured employees while balancing the ability to attract and retain new hires Longevity and Service Factor – resulted in some employees receiving 6% raises when new employees received 1%

8 Pasco – Steps to Range Pasco
The parties will meet to discuss the creation and implementation of one SRP salary structure, consisting of multiple salary ranges, and eliminate the usage of the current step salary schedules. The SRP Compensation Committee will provide input in the development of the new structure, which shall be implemented prior to the beginning of the school year. The newly created salary ranges, as opposed to the current step schedules, will serve as the starting point for the negotiations of salaries for the school year and beyond.
