Go over readings in more detail together Solidify ‘must-know’ main points, come to consensus as class on meanings based on readings and class and experience Prepare for exams Share thoughts and opinions and expand on readings There are only ‘good questions and ideas’

Every culture in institutions or systems is different. No one ‘right fit’. Important to understand this to work well in system or to make changes when needed. Groups L-0 What do the Golden Oldies and Required Readings teach us? Why is it important to understand culture in our future work? What kind of manger will you be- transparent, centralized vs. decentralized, culturally-open or expect acculturate, ascription vs. achievement?
