Robespierre’s Plan: Sell all the church lands Tax all citizens equally Fight the Austrians as revolutionaries Put the King on trial for treason (betrayal of one’s country) Execute all traitors of the revolution

King on Trial Anyone who speaks on behalf of the King would be executed as traitors. Anyone who does not vote to convict the King of treason and sentence him to death would be executed as a traitor. King is sentenced to death (along with his wife)

The Reign of Terror Committee on Public Safety: Created to "deal with “threats” to the revolution (ie. People would be executed for not agreeing with Robespierre and radicals).

Anyone who does not go along with the radical phase of revolution is a traitor – executed Anyone who isn’t working to solve the problems of France – executed Anyone who said “down with the Republic” - executed

Anyone who had a book with the King’s seal on it - executed Anyone who was a noble or previous supporter of the King or Estate system – executed Anyone who was a high clergy member - executed
