3 HEADER 2. Click on the Page Number 1. Double click on the header
and this should appear

4 2. Insert the page number aligned right. 3. Type your last name before the page number. 4. Close the header.

5 HEading

6 1. Type the information for the heading aligned left, in order of importance of the information.

7 TITLE and Body

8 1. Type your title centered
with the first word (and all words more than three letters) capitalized. 2. Indent each paragraph by tabbing once. Do not add extra spaces between paragraphs.

9 Works Cited Page

10 1. Type Works Cited, centered, on the top of the last page.
2. Alphabetize each entry. 3. Each entry on the Works Cited page MUST correspond to an in-text citation. 4. Read through your paper and make sure you have mentioned in the text (or in parentheses at the end of sentence) each and every entry.

11 Works Cited For each entry, the first line is aligned left. The second and subsequent lines for each entry are tabbed in once. See the Purdue OWL website for information on how to complete each entry for your Works Cited page: Visit the IWRC for more assistance

12 Entry for an article on a web site with an author:

14 Entry for a book: Last Name, First Name. Title of Book. Publisher, Publication Date. Callahan, David. The Givers: Money, Power, and Philanthropy in a New Gilded Age. Knopf, 2017.
