Research Restructuring Consolidation of RAs; Merging of CoEs; RGs,; research niches; new research mgnt/governance structure; Academic Restructuring Re-alignment of faculties/schools; re-alignment of programmes; new academic structure Students Affairs Restructuring Consolidation of units/roles & functions; HR audit – redeployment, right-sizing; new structure. Empowered governance structure; major re-engineering of work processes; improvement of internal operations UTMKL Restructuring Overall Impact on UTM Impact on overall governance structure & process flows; central structure to PTJ/Faculty structures. Impact on HR needs (KSA, skillsets, ratios) and HR response (culture, mindset, multi-tasking). 2015 – 2017 2nd Phase Innovation encompass education, entrepreneurial, research, commercialisation (our core business) and the focus in Science, Engineering and Technology. Wealth creation for the nation and international community It reflects our philosophy, our vision and mission. We have to walk the talk of bold, big ideas BAU no longer accepted, find ways to simplify, reduce layers, no posmen – fully utilise our manpower We as leaders in UTM – the first task is to become the walking UTM DNA (leadership by example). Of course we are not perfect, but must be willing to learn, learning to do new things, to acquire new skills, should analyze our strengths and weaknesses Bottom line – we must make things happen Siapa yang come across, the success come without sweat. Comes easy (yang pipih tak akan datang melayang, yang bulat tak datang bergolek). If success comes without challenges, tak berpeluh, smooth…either we check adakah itu a real success.

The proses menghasilkan PGU2 di jalankan secara consensus. The next step, steering committee and facilitators will sit before we get the endorsement from LPU
