Understanding the World Talking about our families Talking about family customs and routines Talking about significant events Investigating in our natural environment Completing child appropriate computer programmes Learning about ‘Bonfire Night’, Remembrance Day and Christmas Expressive Arts and Design Introduce different techniques in art work Expressing ourselves through self portraits, being healthy and people who help us Role play Christmas artwork – paintings, cards, decorations etc Dates for your diary: Top tips and information about learning in Reception Parent Event: Thursday 13th Sept 6.00pm & 6.50pm Parents Evening: Thursday 18th Oct – Details to follow Please Remember Please ensure P.E. kits, coats, hats, gloves and scarves are labelled with your child’s name. Please fill your child's water bottle up and send into school everyday. When the weather is severe, please send a pair of wellies, labelled with your child’s name, for outdoor play.
