STRUCTURE OF NOTE
Part 1:guidance on the definition and ways of implementing transnational cooperation within meaning of Article 10 ESF
Part 2:overview of potential synergies and complementarities between transnational cooperation as defined in Article 10 ESF and other EU instruments, in particular macro-regional strategies
Part 3:answers to specific issues raised by both Member States and ESF geographical desks in relation to implementation of transnational cooperation in the context of ESF

Facilitates transnational cooperation between MS through mutual learning and coordinated joint action
Operates EU-level Platform and develops coordinated implementation framework

Synergies with EaSI, Erasmus+, Horizon 2020, EU health programme, etc: Article 13 CPR Guidance
ESF support to macro-regional strategies with a view to addressing common challenges in defined geographical area
