1. Out of this World Whatever Next Nursery Spring 2- Week 1
The children will be using their imagination to retell the story ‘Whatever Next’. They will be listening to each others ideas. In the creative area the children will be making their own rockets by ordering their numbers.

Physical Development
In PE we will be thinking about how astronauts move on the moon.
. We will continue with our Dough Gym this week, this is where the children do different exercises to music to strengthen their fine motor and gross motor movements. The children will use their fine motor skills to thread pipe cleaners through the holes on a colander.
Phonics
Some children will carry on with Phase 1. This week they will be blending and segmenting CVC. words. Some children will be gin to learn their letter sounds, this week starting with ‘S’

Nursery
Spring 2- Week 1
The children will be telling everyone what they know about space and will listen to the story ‘Whatever Next’. They will be deciding what they would put in their bag if they were going to the moon and explain why they would take those objects.
Personal, Social, Emotional
Development
In SEAL we will be starting a new topic – Good to be Me. The theme is about understanding our feelings as well as considering our strengths and weaknesses as learners. It aims to develop knowledge, understanding and skills in three key social and emotional aspects of learning: self-awareness, managing feelings and empathy.
Some children will be ordering numbers on their rocket and some children will be learning all about Sir Seven in Ten Town.
