1 General Shop Safety Attire and Appearance

2 Clothing Roll long sleeves up above the elbow.
This will keep your clothes clean and prevent the material from getting caught in the tool you are working with.

3 Other Attire Ear buds Headphones Neckties Not Allowed at any time!

4 Foot Protection To prevent injuries NEVER wear shoes with open toes while working in the shop.

5 Foot Protection (Shoe Soles)
Make sure the soles of your shoes are thick enough to prevent nails from puncturing them.

6 Foot Protection (Steel Toes)
The best way to protect your feet from being crushed is to use foot ware that has a cap built in which covers the toes.

7 Jewelry Don’t wear necklaces that may become entangled
Take off rings to keep your fingers from getting caught Remove watches or bracelets

8 Long hair Tie it back so it can not hang over the tool you are working with.

9 Face Ripped Off… A surgical team in India reattached the face of a girl who sustained a severe avulsion injury (her face was ripped off when her hair became caught in a machine) to her face.
