There are various ways in which that is happening – current student recruitment, incoming students, financial aid packages, marketing etc. But another way is by working with departments in encouraging more summer offerings. I’ll get more into how that can benefit your department in just a bit. Before then, let’s look at a new system we have to help faculty in marketing their courses.

Good Summer Course Candidates
Courses with high utilization in fall or spring or bottlenecks Courses needed for major or minor requirements Rule of thumb: summer course should be 11% of fall/spring enrollment Purdue just recently moved up the date for summer course registration to February 1st. Start thinking ahead to summer and talk to your academic advisor about which courses to take.
