PURE LIVING 1 Corinthians 5:1-3

1 Corinthians 5:1-3 1 It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and sexual immorality of such a kind as does not exist even among the Gentiles, that a man is living with his father’s wife. 2 You have become arrogant and have not mourned instead, so that the one who had done this deed would be removed from your congregation. 3 For I, on my part, though absent in body but present in spirit, have already judged him who has so committed this, as though I were present.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 9 Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, 10 or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God.

In these areas of entertainment, the lines become blurred. Where do we distinguish between what a non-Christian enjoys and what a Christian enjoys? I tell you frankly that I feel convicted in this area.” Dr. Billy Graham

Psalm 32 3 When I kept silent, my bones became brittle from my groaning all day long. 4 For day and night Your hand was heavy on me; my strength was drained as in the summer’s heat. 5 Then I acknowledged my sin to You and did not conceal my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and You took away the guilt of my sin.

Genesis 4:7 7 If you do well, will not your countenance be lifted up? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it.”
