2. These first pages contain the first known picture of Sullivan and Mary King’s house at Chazy Lake, about 1890.
This later became Noel’s store and is now a private residence.

3. The saloon was downstairs, note the flag over the banister, it says BEER.
We have not identified all the family members, there seem to be both children and grandchildren in this picture. I think the little girl on the upper porch is Della LaCroix King.

These images are from a photograph of an original which was small enough to fit in the palm of a hand.

Margaret Legacy, Mary Miller’s mother, lived with Sullivan and Mary at Chazy Lake for a while. This picture was taken between the house and a barn which no longer stands and shows the numerous outbuildings on the farm.
