6. Soccer Intramurals Are you in Grades 7 or 8?
Do you like playing soccer?
Do you want to be considered for the Senior boy’s or Girl’s soccer team?
If so, come and sign up for intramurals before Friday! Coach W. and Coach J. will be running two weeks of CO-ED intramurals during the month of April. We will be selecting one boy’s and one girl’s team based on what we see in the gym.
If you do not wish to play in the one-day tournament, that’s okay! You can still join a team for intramurals!
**Come sign-up outside of Mr. Whaling and Miss Jelicic’s room in the portapak! TAKE A FORM AND BRING BACK BY FRIDAY!

7. When you play Four Square, play safe and play fair!
No cherry bombs, rockets, or whips. Pass safely!
Be kind. Don’t target or chant to get people out.
Be honest and be fair. Baby drops aren’t fair. When you’re out, you’re out.
Be courteous. The player in square 1 should only serve 3 times in a row and then go to the back of the waiting line.
Stick with the Four Square rules. (Changing the rules will confuse people just joining the game.)
Aim at the ground, not at people.
Be safe. Don’t use basketballs in the Four Square courts.

8. When you play Four Square, play safe and play fair!
How to Play:
Each of the four squares has a rank 1, 2, 3 and 4 and is occupied by one player
The player in Square 1 serves first and ounces it. ONE bounce into another player’s square.
If the ball bounces on the line, everyone is safe and you must redo the serve.
The ball must be bounced once and for a single instant only in a square.
If bouncing occurs twice in your square or if you don’t catch it in time before it goes out of bounds, you are out.
