Verification timing Current wording:
Float equipment shall be either tested or recertified a minimum of once every 5 years. Revision A Design and Development Review, Verification and Validation according to API Specification Q1 shall be conducted at least once every 5 years.

Validation requires physical testing according to Q1 a) Prototype tests, b) functional and/or operational tests of production products c) tests specified by industry standards and/or regulatory requirements; d) field performance tests and reviews. May move to Design and Development along with Verification but not Validation
