2 How did we get here? With the passage of ESSA and the end of NCLB, states were given the opportunity to design their own accountability plan within some established parameters. In ND, we have valued growth of students immensely. We asked to have growth be a part of our accountability plan – that request was accepted. Then began the birth of the “choice ready” conversation.

5 When is data collected? When are reports available to the public?
First round of reports were due June 2018. Next round will come in June 2019 Data will first be reported August 2019

6 What will the public see in August?
GROWTH GROWTH GROWTH You want to grow from year to year. It is about growth – trajectory. Improvement is what wins the day. Don’t attempt to save the world in one year. Be smart. Do what is good for kids. Table time: Each table discuss what you did this past year within your school to address the Choice Ready component. Report…….
