We need to maintain high vegetation value areas for conservation-net gain principle
Any such areas in the land not already listed to go into the GONP should be added following mine rehabilitation

We note that 7ha of high value vegetation will be removed to adjust slope
Adjusted slope will be grassed
Appropriate offsets are required equivalent on habitat hectare basis

Shared walking and cycling tracks need to be properly maintained
Properly resourced and monitored to stop illegal/unauthorised uses
Reclaimed mine areas with reduced vegetation values may provide other recreational opportunities
