Figure 1 Noninvasive analysis of conditioned culture medium by metabolomic and/or proteomic approaches. Metabolomics and proteomics can be targeted or nontargeted, including both known and unknown metabolites/proteins of different classes. An overall metabolite/proteomic fingerprint can be determined, or specific metabolites/proteins can be identified and quantified that are associated with embryo quality.
