Refer to the e-Poster Style Guide for poster specifications. Presenters should develop a presentation slide using Microsoft PowerPoint (or other presentation software) and export the slide to a .ppt or .pptx file format. Ensure the slide is sized to 56 (width) x (height) inches and oriented in landscape as this will ensure a 16:9 aspect ratio suitable for viewing on a widescreen 56” LCD monitor. e-Poster presentations must be less than 5 minutes with 2-3 minutes for questions. This template was created to assist researchers in meeting minimum specifications for e-Poster presentation. Presenters are not required to use the template, but are encouraged to utilize: Generous amount of white space to separate text and graphic elements Bold and italics to provide emphasis Bullets to separate text Colored headings, graphs, tables, and charts to draw the reader’s eye to those areas of the Poster Special note: minimum specifications defined in the Style Guide must be met to ensure appropriate resolution and size for display on a 56” LCD monitor. Posters not conforming to minimum specifications will be returned to the corresponding author for correction. H3 RESULTS H3 CONCLUSIONS H3 BIBILIOGRAPHY Submitted PowerPoint slides will be reviewed to ensure they conform to minimum specifications and converted to a .jpg file for upload into presentation software, which will be utilized to manage and queue all presentation slides during the conference. As a static poster image will be displayed on the digital monitors, presenters are invited to create dynamic presentations using audio and video. Animation should not be utilized in developing the poster as it will be lost in the conversion to a static image file. Video files may be submitted along with the e- Poster and will be overlaid onto the poster slide in the presentation interface. Video files must conform to specified file formats and be less than 3 minutes in duration. Similarly, audio files may be submitted as narration linked to the e-Poster when uploaded to the conference website post-conference. Audio files must conform to specified file formats and be less than 5 minutes in duration. Sans-serif type Sans-serif typeface refers to fonts that do not have strokes (“serifs”) at the end of the character. Sans-serif type is recommended for digital media. A list of recommended sans-serif fonts are provided in the e-Poster Style Guide. Images Image size should be between megabytes (not to exceed 4 MB) with resolution between 72 – 300 dpi. Graphics should be of high enough resolution to enable viewing on LCD monitors, but should not exceed 1200 x pixels to ensure the specified maximum file size of poster slide is not exceeded. Author.
