Safe and Supportive Environment
All visitors must present picture ID, sign in, and obtain a visitor’s pass to enter school. Bus routes will be sent home on the first day of school. Copies of bus routes can be obtained from our district webpage. An adult must be present when kinder and special education students are dropped off.

My Goals To give your child the academic and social skills needed to progress to fourth grade and grow in life. To provide a supportive and fun classroom environment. To help your child make new friends and discover new interests.

An important part to learning…..
We will keep homework to a minimum Homework will be work that the child can complete independently. Homework is to be completed Mon. – Thurs. It will be checked every morning. Please sign agendas daily. It will include your child’s homework, important notes, and daily behavior. Agendas are check daily, this is a great way to communicate with me. Istation: Assessed every month Reports on progress will be sent home Students have access at home (highly recommended) TTM: Manages students success in all math areas Students can access at home (highly recommended)

How can I help my child SUCCEED in school? Stay involved, feel free to contact me at anytime. Ask your child about school and their day. Make sure your child is getting plenty of sleep and is ready for school each day. Help your child with his/her homework every night. Accountability for All
Please bring an utility bill the first week of school for verification of residence. Accountability for All Practice the 5 B’s: Be Safe, Be Responsible, Be Respectful, Be friendly and caring, and Be honest. Student Handbook: Can be viewed on school website, will provide last page to be signed and returned. Please sign and return all paperwork from teacher and office. Students will be accountable for reading every night and making sure they are ready to take an AR test. Assessments will be sent home for parent’s signature. Absences: Please send note with your child the following day. Tardies affect valuable learning. School Dress Code is enforced: black (on Mondays or Bully Shirt), white, or red polo shirt with black or khaki bottoms. College shirt on Thursdays and free dress on Fridays for those students who have perfect attendance from Monday- Thursday.

We all make mistakes, that’s why we all have erasers. We will make mistakes together and individually. The important thing is that we learn from them. Mistakes are proof that you are trying!
