2. Definitions Difficult and not universal
Serial Killer has a cooling off period, and kills at least two people
Mass murder – very broad and includes politics, organizational killing, family murders, and murder of familiar people, and sometimes spree killers or rampage killers. Takes place in one location. Usually 4 or more people.

Spree Killer/Autogenic Massacre. Multiple people, multiple locations.
Rampage Killer – like a spree killer, but can be in one location
Murder-suicide
Pseudocommando – a subtype of a mass killer, sometimes a spree killer or rampage killer
