17 Progress toward goals…..

18 Challenge Your Club

19

20 How do I challenge my club?
Set stretch goals! Enter goals into Rotary Club Central. Review progress toward goals regularly with Foundation Chair and Board. Get creative and have fun….what are you willing to do if your club meets its goals? Find innovative ways to recognize those who give – tell club members about it.

21 What are stretch goals and how do I set them?
Consider the district goals. Look at what the club accomplished last year and what it accomplished in its most successful year. Use Club Runner. Do the math! Test and debate your goal with your Foundation Chair. Enter your goals into Club Runner.

22 Enter Club Goals – Due May 31 for Rotary Year 2018-2019

23 Be the Inspiration

24

25 How do I get inspired and inspire others in my club?
Dedicate time for programs that tell the “why”– bring in guest speakers. Encourage club members to get involved with international service. Ask the foundation chair or other club members to do something each month to build awareness of the importance of the foundation. Set a club challenge. Model the way with giving. Encourage the board to do so, too!

26 Strengthen with Structure

27 What is the one thing? Makes you decide which actions have the most value. Acts like a filter removing all the extra noise Causes the domino effect.

28 What club structure will be support my goals?
First, understand your club goals and the size and strength of your membership. What one step can you take that will help your club be successful? Who will lead your foundation efforts? Does this person need others to help them? How will these people plan and communicate? Can the plan be put to paper? How will the effort get club buy-in and support? Meet with your foundation lead to discuss next steps.
