Turns out building Android for a particular device is MUCH harder than building it for the emulator, which I had done in Week 2.
I’ve literally built Android 6 times this week, with varying degrees of success.
The Nexus 5x needs some proprietary code to run, so I have to “merge” it with my build
Plans for next week:
Get my build to run on the Nexus 5x device
Researched a way to incrementally build the OS and put it on the drive in about 30 seconds, so I’d like to implement that.
Start writing code.
