WHAT ARE EMOTIONS? -EMOTIONS- SIGNALS THAT TELL YOUR MIND AND BODY

- TO COMMUNICATE EMOTIONS, YOU USE A COMBINATION OF WORDS, FACIAL EXPRESSIONS, AND BODY LANGUAGE.
EMOTIONS NEED TO BE EXPRESSED IN POSITIVE WAYS, NEGATIVE WAYS OF DEALING WITH FEELINGS DO NOTHING TO SOLVE PROBLEMS AND IT AFFECTS YOUR HEALTH TRIANGLE.

RESPONDING TO YOUR EMOTIONS.
WAYS TO RESPOND TO EMOTIONS: LOOK BELOW THE SURFACE OF YOUR EMOTIONS. ASK YOURSELF:WHY DO I FEEL THE WAY I DO ABOUT THIS EVENT?

2. CONSIDER WHETHER OR NOT THE SITUATION TO WHICH YOU ARE REACTING WILL MATTER
TOMORROW, NEXT WEEK, OR NEXT YEAR.

3. DON’T TAKE ACTION ON A STRONG
FEELINGS UNTIL YOU HAVE THOROUGHLY CONSIDERED THE CONSEQUENCES OF YOUR ACTIONS.

DEFENSE MECHANISMS BECAUSE EMOTIONS AFFECT YOU, YOU MAY NEED TO AVOID THE ONE THAT CAUSE YOU DISCOMFORT BY USING DEFENSE MECHANISMS. SOME EMOTIONS THAT COULD CAUSE DISCOMFORT ARE: FEAR PAIN SADNESS ANGER
