The sense of shame is a moral compass which guides a person to behave properly and gives him/her the self-discipline to do the right thing.

Refer to the pictures given, what can you do to save the environment in each area (Coastal areas, Forests, Agriculture, Water Supplies, Waste, Energy) ?
What practical actions can we do in school to conserve the environment?
What is your motivation of doing the above?

5. Group Discussion We should develop empathy for the environment.
We should move beyond empathy and take actions to bring about real change.
We must never be afraid to do the right things
Everyone has a part to play in conserving the environment.
Small efforts can make a big difference.

6. Pledge to Act
Each group will be given a coloured cardboard to design a pledge card.
Each group to discuss and suggest 5 practical actions that they can commit to doing in the school to conserve the environment.
Each group to beautify the coloured cardboard and every member to sign on the pledge card to commit to those actions.
Completed cardboard to be display at the value of the month corner.
Pledge to act and get the class to sign and agree to adhere to the rules that they drafted

7. Desired Actions The Earth is our home.
Reflect on one’s action on the environment regularly.
Be prudent with the use of resources at all times.
Protecting our environment require our collective efforts.
