2. Scenario
You have recently been hired as an IT consultant for a small company that wishes to advertise itself on the internet. You have completed a detailed plan for the managing director, he is happy to go ahead with the proposed software installations and upgrades, however due to some unforeseen budgetary cuts the company can only now afford to perform one upgrade and one new software installation.

3. Outcome and Principal Objective(s)
P4 - Record and complete a software installation.
P5 - Record and complete a software upgrade.
P6 - Explain the importance of the user acceptance process.
D1 - Justify a particular installation or upgrade.

4. Task 1
Task 1
As a result, you have been commissioned to perform the following upgrades and installations.
Upgrades Installations
Windows 7 to windows Cpu-Z
Office 2013 to Office Core temp
Adobe CS6 to Adobe CC Google chrome or Firefox

5. Task 1 P4/P5
Part 1 – The managing director is keen for an upgrade to go ahead, and is happy for you to choose one software upgrade from the original list.
Part 2 – The managing director is keen for the software installation to go ahead, and is happy for you to choose one software installation from the original list
You will provide evidence that the upgrade and software installation has taken place using screen-shots/photos or a video.
(All evidence must be annotated and will be supported by a witness statement)

6. Task 2 P6
You have completed the upgrades and installations successfully.
The managing director has asked you to produce a short presentation to his board that clearly explains the different reasons for the user acceptance process used at the Handover stage.
Your presentation should consist of (8-10 slides) including an introduction and conclusion. 

7. (Your report must be more than 500 words)
Task 3 D1
Your manager is happy with the feedback from the small IT company.
He would like you to produce a report on the tasks you have undertaken for the IT company.
Write a report to your manager justifying the upgrades and software installations you have chosen and undertaken providing a good business case for the work you have carried out.
