He is the believer’s sin offering sacrificed “outside the camp”. Jn. 19:17
His crucifixion epitomizes the despising and shame He endured for us.
This is where the Hebrew tells us to go.
But, why?

9. Sanctified People?
To the Jew, going to Golgotha would be an unthinkable place for Jesus to shed His blood to sanctify His people!
Yet this is where believers in Christ are charged to go. Cp. Lk. 9:22-23
Our daily walk would manifest His reproach. 1 Pet. 4:1-5, 12-19; Heb. 10:34
