His crucifixion epitomizes the despising and shame He endured for us.
This is where the Hebrew writer tells believers in Christ to go.
But, why?

6. This is Where Believers Bear the Reproach of Christ
To the Jew, Golgotha would be an unthinkable place for Jesus to shed His blood to sanctify His people!
Yet this is where believers in Christ are charged to go. Cp. Lk. 9:22-23 (cp. Heb. 13:10-13; Exo. 33:7)
Our daily walk would manifest His reproach. 1 Pet. 4:1-5, 12-19; Heb. 10:34
